Texas Lassos is classified as a service organization at the University of Texas at Austin. As an organization, we strive to promote spirit, service, and social activities to all members while fostering friendship, leadership, and cooperation with the University and community. Founded in 1998 with only seven members, today Texas Lassos is home to over eighty active members and an accomplished group of alumni. We support the UT and Austin community through service projects, UT athletics with our proud Longhorn spirit, and most of all, we support each other with our ever-growing bonds of friendship and sisterhood.
What’s new with Lassos:
Feb 18th from 6:00 - 10:00 pm: On behalf of UT Dance Marathon and The Texas Lassos we invite you to attend our DM2010 Benefit Concert for the Dell Children’s Medical Center at THE HUB (3815 Dry Creek Drive), featuring Lee County Line. Ticket Prices: Tickets are $15, which includes your access to the concert as well a trip to the burger bar for a delicious hamburger and homemade chips prepared by The Hub. Tickets are on sale in the west mall or in front of gregory gym or you can contact lisa.holung@gmail.com.
